My process of making swirly dominoes

Making resin dominoes takes a lot of steps and a lot of time. This is how I make mine using alcohol ink (It swirls nicely).

Beginning prep:
* Decide on the colors to use. I usually use two or three, plus white. 
* Mix up the resin.
* Spray the mold with alcohol as an attempt to deter bubbles.

Step One: Pour the first layer of resin into the mold(s). Fill them about halfway.

Step Two: 
* Put drops of each ink color in each domino  cavity. 
* Repeat for every color. 
* Add drops of white into each domino cavity.

Step Three:
* Using a clean pointy thing (I usually use a microbrush or a toothpick), stick it in each cavity and swirl the inks around, wiping off the tip as needed to not muddy the colors.
* Spray the dominoes with alcohol again to pop any bubbles.

Step Four: Wait a few hours (I usually wait about six).

Step Five: 
* Mix up more resin.
* Add an opaque colorant to this batch of resin (I usually use a black pigment paste).

Step Six: 
* Pour the colored resin onto the domino cavities, covering up the existing ones.
* Spray down the dominoes with alcohol again.
* Wait a day for the resin to harden.

Step Seven: Unmold the dominoes.

Step Eight: Trim any rough edges of the dominoes.

Step Nine: Using either a marker or paint, color in all of the pips and divider lines.

Step Ten: Keep the dominoes separated (do not stack!) for a week or so to let them cure.
